ACIG Safety Division

American Contractors Insurance Group's safety division provides individually tailored safety, health and environmental programs to our contractors. Since ACIG only writes construction coverage, the ability to provide effective programs is essential regarding the inherent risks faced by our members.

The ACIG safety staff develops and communicates new and creative ideas as they relate to the construction industry's safety and health field. To accomplish these goals, we foster networking opportunities, sponsor workshops and rely on the experience and background of a qualified staff.

The ACIG Safety Department’s mission statement is to assist members in saving lives and preventing the potential for losses by:

  • Providing information, resources, education, and outreach;
  • Delivering value-added services to improve the safety, health, and welfare of the member companies;
  • Facilitating networking opportunities and promoting Best Practices; and
  • Fostering a zero incident culture.
